The burial ceremony of Late Mrs. Hannah Ineye Williams on the 30th August 2019 started with a Service of Songs on Thursday 29th August 2019 at the Etebu compound Odi in Kolokuma Opokuma LGA in Bayelsa State. The Service of Songs was attended by family members, friends and well-wishers of the family in Odi. On Saturday 30th August the body of Late Mrs. Ineye Williams (Nee Etebu) left the F.M.C mortuary for her home town Odi followed by the laying in state at her residence in Odi and the funeral service held at St. Stephen Anglican Church, Odi, Bayelsa State at about 10:00am. The funeral service was attended by the Vice Chancellor, members of his family, friends, top government functionaries, the academia and workers of the health sector including; the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health and other Directors, Executive Officers of the Bayelsa Specialist Hospital, Chairman and members of the Primary Health Care Board, Director and staff of the School of Nursing, Chiefs, Traditional rulers, the Odi community and other Clergy men of the state who shared their condolences and support at the burial ceremony. After which the internment/reception was held at the Etebu’s compound. The high point of the event was the musical entertainment by the Bayelsa musical icon Asu Ekiye which brought the ceremony to a close in a peaceful and well honored manner. The vote of thanks was taken by her brother Hon. Justice Oyaikomo Etebu. Mrs Hannah Ineye Williams was loved by many for her peaceful disposition, positive impacts and motherly love to both family and non-family members.
