About the Program
The B.Sc. Computer Science is a four-year degree program that provides students with core competencies in software development, computer systems, data structures, algorithms, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. The program blends theoretical foundations with real-world applications to meet the dynamic demands of the global tech industry.
Students will gain hands-on experience in programming, system design, databases, networks, and emerging technologies through lectures, labs, and industry-based projects. Emphasis is placed on creativity, innovation, and ethical computing.

Curriculum
The curriculum aligns with the National Universities Commission (NUC) Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS).
Admission Criteria
UTME Entry (4-Year Programme)
- O’Level Credits in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry or Further Mathematics
- One other science subject
Direct Entry (3-Year Programme)
- A’Level/JUPEB with at least 10 points in Mathematics, Physics, and one other science subject
- OND/HND in Computer Science or ICT-related fields with Lower Credit
- NCE with Computer Science and Mathematics
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Medical fitness certification and credential verification are required
