ADMISSION INTO FIRST DEGREE PROGRAMMES OF
BAYELSA MEDICAL UNIVERSITY 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

This is to inform the public and all prospective candidates seeking admission into Bayelsa Medical University for the 2023/2024 Academic Session that Application for Admissions into the undergraduate degree programmes of the University is in progress. However, Applications for Admission into Medicine & Surgery, Dentistry and Nursing Science programmes are closed. Please find below the JAMB UTME minimum cut-off mark for the following programmes of the University and the application procedure.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Candidates who sat for the 2023/2024 JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a score of 140 and above and who are interested in studying any of the above-listed courses/programmes should immediately proceed to the JAMB CAPS portal to do their change of course/institution and make Bayelsa Medical University their First Choice of institution. Such candidates are also required to register online for screening at https://my.bmu.edu.ng/application/register
Note: Candidates who are unable to secure admission into Medicine & Surgery, Dentistry and Nursing Science will be offered admission into other health related programmes such as Physiotherapy, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science, Public Health, Community Health, Human Nutrition & Dietetics, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology etc.
