PROFILE and BIOGRAPHY of DEAN
Dr. Seimokumo Samuel Angaye is a Doctor of Chemistry, a native of Bayelsa, Kolokuma Opokuma Local Government and was born on the 7th July, 1953.
He attended St. Peter’s State Primary School, Sabagreia and Bishop Dimirear Grammar School, Yenagoa. He also attended Federal Government College Porthacourt.
He then proceeded to the University of Ibadan and obtained a Bachelor degree in Chemistry in 1979 and a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry in 1984 and also obtained a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology in the year 2015.
During his National Youth Service Corp, he lectured at the Advanced Teachers College, Akwarga, Plateau State.
He also lectured in Rivers State College of Education, Porthacourt between 1981-2006.
He has also lectured at Niger Delta University between 2006-2018 (Tenure) and 2018-2019 (Contract).
He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Bayelsa Medical University and the Dean of Student Affairs.
He is happily married and blessed with children.
